2009-2010 Porter Physiology Fellowship Awardees

The Porter Committee is also pleased to announce that the following student will receive a second year of funding through the Porter Physiology Fellowship Continuation Award:

Heidy Contreras, University of California, Irvine

Ms. Contreras will be designated as the Eleanor Ison Franklin Fellow for having the highest ranked renewal application.

The Porter Physiology Development Program provides 1-2 year full-time graduate fellowships in programs leading to the Ph.D. (or D.Sc.) in the physiological sciences. The program is open to underrepresented ethnic minority applicants who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its territories.
