Outreach Activities
The APS web site contains a wealth of activities developed by members,
staff, and classroom teachers participating in our programs. Many
of these activities are ideal for use by scientists visiting the classroom.

High School
Activities (9-12) 		We encourage you to talk with the classroom teacher before selecting an activity. To be most effective, activities should be related to and enhance the ongoing curriculum of the course. Be sure to consult with teachers about the materials you plan to bring to the classroom, especially if you are bringing animals or animal tissues, or equipment and/or materials that require specific safety precautions. You should NOT assume that the classroom is equipped with ventilation hoods, running water, gas or air jets, or laboratory benches. Be sure to check with the classroom teacher.
