The American Physiological Society (APS) Teaching of Physiology Section Mid-career Educator Award honors mid-career member who demonstrates excellence in physiology education through the use of innovative teaching or mentorship activities. This award is made possible by our sponsor Labfront.
Eligibility
The applicant must:
- be a regular APS member
- have a primary affiliation with the Teaching of Physiology Section, and
- have at least five years of teaching experience.
Criteria
The application package includes:
- curriculum vitae, and
- statement on teaching methods and future goals.
The award recipient will be selected by members of the Teaching of Physiology Section Steering Committee. The award will be presented at the Teaching of Physiology Section banquet during the American Physiology Summit. The recipient is expected to attend the banquet to receive the award.
